I want to share with you one of my favorite blogs and the post for today. I discovered Heidi's blog several months ago off another blog (can't remember whose anymore) and I have found her musings on parenthood, especially relating to fostering and adoption, to be poignent.
Her post today about the first days after children come home made me chuckle to remember how the only way I could get Garrett to sleep when he first came home was to let him literally jump himself to sleep in his jumparoo -- then I could catch a quick nap on the couch too. Thank goodness God created Mommy amnesia!
